Mushroom Coriander Gravy

As I mentioned before, I am a chef at home so I tried a different combination of curry as a side dish for chapatti which is Mushroom Coriander Gravy. Usually I try different combinations with Mushroom since my partner likes it most and it is one of the ingredients which are frequently used in our home. Here we go with the recipe

MUSHROOM CORIANDER GRAVY
            Ingredients:
    • Mushroom-200 Gms
    • Coriander leaves-One bunch
    • Onion-2
    • Tomato-Medium sized 2 or Large 1
    • Garlic-2 or 3 cloves
    • Ginger-a small pinch
    • Green Chilli-2 no’s
    •  Sombu- little
    • Kirambu- 2 pieces
    • Pattai- little
    • Cardamom-1
    •  Salt to taste
    • Chilly powder
    • Oil for frying
       How to make:

    •  Grind onion, tomato, garlic, ginger, Sombu, Pattai, Kirambu, cardamom and green chillies. Keep it aside.
    •   Cut the coriander bunch and fry it in a tawa. Cool it and make it as a paste.
    •  Pour oil in a tawa and fry the onion paste. When oil separates add salt and chilly powder.
    •  Once the oil separates as well as the dry smell goes, add the coriander paste to the gravy.
    •  Chop the mushrooms and add to the gravy once the dry smell goes from the gravy after the addition of coriander paste.
    •  Cook for 10-15 minutes in high flame. Do not add water since mushroom tends to leave water once cooked.
    •  After 10-15 minutes, cook in medium flame for 5 minutes. Adjust salt and spicy according to your taste.
    •  Switch of the flame and serve hot with rotis or chapattis. It also goes very well with rice.
      Note:
    •   Instead of coriander we can substitute with palak.
    •   Instead of mushrooms, we  go with chole, rajama.

3 Hours 56 Minutes

Everyone whoever reads this article will be wondering why I kept the title as 3 Hours 56 Minutes, this is nothing but the match time which lasted between Mr. Roger Federer and Mr.Novak Djokovic in finals of Wimbledon 2014.

Many people around the globe knows what is Wimbledon but still there are few people who doesn’t know what is Wimbledon all about. To those who don’t know what Wimbledon is all about, here is two lines description of it. Wimbledon is nothing but the lawn tennis played and held in All England Club in London since 1877. It is one of the Grand slams tennis tournaments. Grand Slam also called majors, are the four tennis events happens every year. Winning this major is considered as prestigious moment/award in tennis world.
I hope whoever reads this will know a little about what is Wimbledon and grand slam is all about and I also hope that all came to know about what I am going to talk today. Yes, it is about the finals of the Wimbledon which happened on July 6, 2014. Federer has 17 grand slam titles in his kitty, dreaming for the 18th grand slam title whereas on the other hand Djokovic dreaming of maintaining his 1st position as well as 2nd Wimbledon title after a downfall in the previous year. This fight has become a treat for the tennis watchers around the world.

The noon started with Djokovic winning the toss and serving for the first set. The first set went as a tough fight between two of them. Each one 6 break points and finally went for a tie break. During the tie break, Roger won the first set.  The second set was won by Djokovic after the loss of first set. Now both are equal having won one set. Third set become a fight again, at the end of fight it is Djokovic who won the fight.  Federer was my personal favorite, I lost all my hopes when third set went to Novak, I had only slight hopes when fourth set started. I was praying to almighty that Roger has to win the title. Fourth set was a thriller movie for me, it is must win set for Federer whereas for Djokovic if he wins then the trophy for him.  After passing a few minutes a big tragedy came even to my slight hope which I had beginning of fourth set, yes, it is championship point for Novak Djokovic. That was the time I saw a man who showed all talents which was hiding in his mind and body. God showed blessings for my prayers, Federer won the set. What a thriller it was, my heart was pounding fast for each and every single point won by Federer. That set could not be explained in words should be experienced for compulsory. I saw the Federer who I saw some years back. That proved me he is not in part of retirement yet and also even if he loses the title that won’t hurt me a lot as a fan since he gave a tough fight for the day. Three cheers   for that tough task master who is a real player.

At last there came final set of the day. One part of the crowd says Roger and another says Novak. Silly mistakes from the real player made Novak won the second Wimbledon title. That doesn’t means Novak was not a player.  Djokovic deserves this title, he played well and made real player do silly mistakes. During the toss not only him but nobody knows that he has not only won the toss but also going to win the title. Djokovic thanked Federer for paying way for him to win whereas Federer congratulated him. The match between these two real players/competitors not only become treat for the fans but also become an epic in grand slam Wimbledon history. Love you guys for a fabulous finals.

An opinion differs from person to person. The above subjected is my personal opinion and not for hurting others. Hope you guys enjoyed this article. Catch you soon with another interesting article
